On March 4th, 2004, Acris, the
resident "Laboratory Retriever" (she is, of course, really a Golden
    Retriever)
had her litter of three male and three female puppies. The puppies have all
    been weaned and departed,
although one puppy (Arrow) stayed behind with graduate student Tracy Heath.

Acris had her second litter (five
males, three females) on September 16th, 2006. She was bred to Miles Silman's
    Trooper,
in North Carolina. Both mother and father are great retrievers from outstanding
    lines,
and have been certified for good eyes, hips, and elbows. All the puppies are
    now placed.
