Course Objectives The primary objective of the course is to provide students with transferable skills to promote their quantitative reasoning skills, for their everyday lives and future careers.
   
Skill Sets On successfully completing this course students will:
  • have improved critical thinking and reasoning skills
  • have improved problem solving skills
    • with an ability to conceptualize and reason through problems
    • be able to present their reasoning logically and systematically
  • have improved independent study techniques
  • have an improved ability to read and critique scientific literature
  • be conversant with common statistical analysis software packages
  • be self sufficient with the statistical methodologies presented
